The movie is produced by Prerna Arora and Arjun N kapoor. Permanu was shot in Delhi and Mumbai, with major portion being shot in Pokhran, and area of Pokhran fast, Aada Bazaar, Gandhi Chowk Main Market and the Gomat Railway Station.
Rlease:
It was stated that the film will release on 8 December 2017, but the makers pushed the date to aviode chasing with Padmaavat. Now it is stated to be released on 4 May 2018. Recently film got delayed further owing to fight between the producers of the film, Abraham's JA Entertainment and Kriary productions. The movies has budget of 50 crore.

The first look of the film was revealed by Abraham through his twitter handle on 22 june 2017. The second poster of film was revealed on 14 August 2017.
John Abraham was approached by film producers Arjun N Kapoor and Prerna Arora, which was further developed.
Parmanu was officially announced on 15 April, 2017 via Taran Adarsh's twitter handle.
